ITC is eye-catcher in morning hours on Monday. The stock was trading higher by over 5% at Rs 340.85 per share. Nifty FMCG index hit record high of 28267 level higher by over 1000 points.Bank Nifty is trading lower by 5 points at 23205 level. Bank of Baroda is top gainer in the index trading at Rs 164.75 per share up by Rs 3 per share. Metal stocks are also surging higher. Hindalco is top gainer trading at Rs 195.25 per share up by Rs 4.3 per share.

The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31089 up 167 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9564 up 43 points. A total of 31 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 20 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
