Bank Nifty has touched its record high of 24129 level, up by 114 points. PNB is top gainer in the index trading at Rs 157 per share, up by Rs 4.25 per share or 2.78%. Yes Bank was up by 1.51%; Canara Bank was up by 1.06%; Bank of Baroda, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank were also trading in positive territory.There are 759 advances, 807 declines and 391 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting fairly negative bias floating in the market.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31847 down 226 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9867 down 48 points. A total of 38 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 18 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
