Nifty index is trading at its high point of the day, above the important mark of 9,950. Among its constituents, 37 are advances and 14 are declines. Tech Mahindra continues to hold the top position in the index trading at Rs 429 per share, up by 3.1%.

There were 1,137 advances, 483 declines and 344 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting strong positive sentiments floating in the market.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,831 up 129 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9,956 up 43 points. A total of 88 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 12 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
