Nifty 50 index has been hovering near its lowest level of 10,011. All the sectoral indices on NSE are trading in negative territory. Bank stocks are biggest draggers for the major indices in the market. Bank Nifty index is trading lower by 1.27% at 24,484 level. Volatility in the market has been surging in the during the morning trade. Bears are dominating the bears. There are 290 advances, 1,291 declines and 374 unchanged stocks on NSE.
The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 32,117 down by 252 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 10,021 down by 100 points. A total of 29 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 11 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. Tata Motors, HCL Technologies, Cipla and Bharti Infratel are among the gainers, whereas Yes Bank, Hindalco, Ultratech Cement, Vedanta and IOC are losing sheen in the Nifty50 index.
