Major indices in the market have been holding their opening gains in the pre-lunch hour. All the sectoral indices are trading in green zone, Realty, PSU Bank and Pharma stocks lead the upswing. APL Apollo Tubes is top gainer in the Nifty Metal index trading at Rs 1,751.15 per share, up by 3.65%. Tata Steel is second top gainer trading at Rs 686.3 per share, up by 3.58%. Jindal Steel and JSW Steel are also trading in positive territory, higher by more than 1%.

A total of 95 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 11 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
