Larsen and Toubro and Finolex Cables are the major contributors to the index gains.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,713 up 51 points, while Nifty is trading at 9948 up 18 points.A total of 89 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 11 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
