Benchmark indices pared marginal losses but continue to trade in the red while broader market indices is trading in positive territory. Indiabulls Housing Finance is the top Nifty gainer gaining in trade by 2.03% at Rs 1266.10 per share. Nifty Bank plummets 75 points at 24,253 levels. Yes Bank is the top index gainer gaining in trade by 0.91% at 1,794.50 per share.
Meanwhile, Nifty Media is the top gaining index among sectoral indices. The index traded higher by 0.29% at 3063 level. Sun TV is contributing majorly to the index gains and is trading higher by 2.11% at Rs 843.60 per share. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,656 down 153 points, while Nifty is trading at 9,912 down 40 points. A total of 82 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 17 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
