Nifty continues to trade lower by 36 points and BSE Sensex tanks 160 points.Broader market indices gained bullish sentiments and traded higher. GAIL is the top Nifty gainer followed by Ambuja Cements. GAIL traded higher by 2.22% at Rs 387.10 per share.
Sun Pharma continues to trade lower as the top Nifty loser shedding 2.96% at Rs 477.30 per share. Bank Nifty continues to trade lower majorly dragged by ICICI Bank. The index traded lower by 83 points at 24,244 level. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,636 down 173 points, while Nifty is trading at 9907 down 44 points. A total of 76 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 17 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
