The weakness in the market continues for the sixth consecutive trading session on Tuesday. Nifty has moved lower with immediate support at 9,850 mark. Bank Nifty index has been also trading lower by 56 points at 24,108. Heavyweight, HDFC Bank is top loser in the index trading at Rs 1,790.1 per share, down by 0.54%.There are 1,003 advances, 513 declines and 442 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting that the bulls are trying to take charge on D Street.
The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,612 down by 13 points, while Nifty is trading at 9,869 down by 3 points.A total of 7 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 20 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.ONGC, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Vedanta, Sun Pharma and Hindalco are among the gainers, whereas Asian Paints, Hindustan Unilever, BPCL, Dr Reddy’s Labs and HDFC are losing sheen in the Nifty50 index.
