Nifty index has moved above the important mark of 10,100. Nifty Pharma index has extended its gains in the afternoon hours. The index is trading at 9,595.9 level, up by 276 points or 2.96%.Dr Reddy’s is top gainer in the index trading at Rs 2,428 per share, up by 4.89%. Glenmark is second top gainer, trading at Rs 635.7 per share, up by Rs 25.5 per share or 4.18%. Divi’s Lab, Cipla and Lupin are trading in positive territory, up by more than 3%.
The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 32,260 down 140 points, while Nifty is trading at 10,088 down 52 points. A total of 47 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 14 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. There are 519 advances, 1,103 declines and 337 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting negative undertone.Dr. Reddy’s Lab, Lupin, Cipla, Yes Bank and Tech Mahindra are among the gainers while Tata Motors, Zee Entertainment, Hindalco, Coal India and Indiabulls Housing Finance are losing on the NSE.
