Nifty 50 index has breached the important mark of 10,000 during the afternoon hours. Bank Nifty index touched its intraday low of 24,404. It is trading lower by 1.41% at 24,448 level.Yes Bank is top loser in the Bank Nifty index trading at Rs 361.35 per share, down by 4.16%. Canara Bank, Federal Bank and ICICI Bank are also trading in negative territory, down by more than 2%.
Among other bank stocks in the index including Bank of Baroda, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, PNB, IDFC Bank and SBI are also trading in negative terrain, down by more than 1%. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 32,045 down by 324 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 10,000 down by 121 points. A total of 31 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 13 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
