Nifty index has been hovering near 10,150 mark in the afternoon hours. Nifty Pharma index is one of the sectoral indices gainer on NSE, trading at 9,347 level, up by 0.57%. Divi’s Lab is top gainer in the index trading at Rs 921.75 per share, up by 6.78%. Dr Reddy’s Lab is trading higher by 3.61% at Rs 2,322.5 per share. There are 852 advances, 769 declines and 336 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting fairly positive sentiments floating in the market. At 2 PM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 32,430 up 28 points, while Nifty is trading flat at 10,148. A total of 85 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 10 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
Some buying activity is seen in Capital Goods, Power and Realty, while Metal, Pharma, Auto, Information Technology, Telecom are showing weakness on BSE.Dr Reddy’s Lab, L&T, Reliance, SBI and ITC are among the gainers, whereas Bharti Airtel, BPCL, Tata Motors, Coal India and Ambuja Cements are losing sheen on NSE. The INDIA VIX is up by 1.52% at 11.64.
