Nifty is trading above the important mark of 10,100, extending its Tuesday’s gains. Nifty has resistance placed around the levels of 10,135-10,140 and if it manages to hold above these levels, it may scale higher up to the level of 10,200.
Bank Nifty index has slipped to negative territory, marginally down by 0.06% at 24,770 level. Major private sector banks including Yes Bank, HDFC Bank and Axis Bank are dragging down the index. There are 950 advances, 553 declines and 450 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting mixed sentiments floating in the market.
The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 32,251 up 92 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 10,113 up 20 points. A total of 57 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 6 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
