Nifty is continued to trade lower in the afternoon hours. However, the index has recovered marginally from their day’s low level of 9,813. Metal, Pharma and Realty are witnessing some buying activity amidst the weak market. Nifty Realty index is trading higher by 1.57% at 268.55 level. Indiabulls Real Estate is the top gainer in realty sector, trading at Rs 209.15 per share, up by 3.8%.
There are 947 advances, 676 declines and 342 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting that the bulls are trying to take charge on D Street. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,540 down by 86 points, while Nifty is trading at 9,844 down by 27 points. A total of 9 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 34 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
