Nifty has support close to 10,025 while 10,125 will act as resistance on the upside. Bank Nifty index also has support at 24,700 while 25,000 will act as resistance level on the upside. The index is trading in positive territory near the important mark of 25,000.The index is trading at 24,942 level, up by 0.44%. Axis Bank is top gainer in the index trading at Rs 513.4 per share, up by 2.82%. Bank of Baroda is second top gainer, trading at Rs 2.05%. Other bank stocks including PNB, Canara Bank and Federal Bank are also trading higher by more than 1%.
The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 32,297 up 111 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 10,116 up 36 points. A total of 21 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 3 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
Sun Pharma, BPCL, Axis Bank, IOC and Lupin are among the gainers, whereas Wipro, Zee Entertainment, IndusInd Bank, HDFC and M&M are losing sheen on NSE.
