Nifty continues to remain subdued in the second half of the trading session. The index has touched day’s low of 9,816. Next support levels may be placed at 9,780 followed by 9,740, believe analysts.Bank Nifty index has marginally moved up from the day’s low of 24,015. The index is trading down by 248 points or 1.02% at 24,120 level. ICICI Bank and Bank of Baroda are the only two stocks trading in positive territory in the index.
There are 277 advances, 1,398 declines and 302 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting that the market is continued to remain in negative bias. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,690 down by 214 points, while Nifty is trading at 9,844 down by 119 points. A total of 21 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 57 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
