Nifty continues to trade rangebound in the afternoon hours. Nifty Pharma index is top loser among the sectoral indices on NSE. The index is trading at 9,269 level, down by 111 points. Dr Reddy’s Lab is top loser in the index trading at Rs 2,208.05 per share, down by 2.01%. Other pharma stocks including Cadila Healthcare, Sun Pharma, Aurobindo Pharma, Cipla and PEL are also trading in negative territory, down by more than 1%.
There are 609 advances, 1,021 declines and 332 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting strong negative undertone in the market. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 32,177 down 64 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 10,057 down 29 points. A total of 49 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 21 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
