Nifty is trading above the important mark of 10,050 in the early trade. There are 551 advances, 1,017 declines and 389 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting strong negative sentiments floating in the market.
Nifty IT index is the only gaining index on NSE. It is trading higher by 0.36% at 10,533 level. Tech Mahindra is top gainer in the index trading at Rs 446.75 per share, up by 1.21%. Infosys is also trading at Rs 902.3 per share, up by 1.11%. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 32,161 down 80 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 10,057 down 29 points. A total of 37 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 16 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
