Nifty has been hovering around the important level of 10,150. Nifty metal index is top loser among the sectoral indices on NSE trading at 3,653.95 level, down by 35.8 points or 0.97%. Coal India is top loser in the index trading at Rs 258.2 per share, down by 2.4%. National Aluminum company is second top loser trading at Rs 80.6 per share, down by 2.01%. Other metal stocks which are trading in negative territory are MOIL, Apollo, Hindalco, Vedanta and NMDC are also trading lower, down by more than 1%.

There are 818 advances, 818 declines and 323 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting mixed sentiments floating in the market. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 32,422 marginally down by 2 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 10,148 marginally down by 4 points. A total of 112 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 10 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
