Nifty has turned positive in the afternoon hours. Nifty Realty index is top gainer among the sectoral indices on NSE trading at 291.7 level, up by 1.02%. Indiabulls Real Estate is top gainer in the index trading at Rs 250.45 per share, up by 3.62%. Other realty stocks including Delta Corp, Prestige and Sobha are also among the top gainers trading in positive territory, higher by more than 2%.
There are 896 advances, 733 declines and 330 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting fairly positive sentiments floating in the market. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 32,459 up by 41 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 10,159 marginally up by 6 points. A total of 104 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 10 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. Tata Motors, GAIL, Sun Pharma and Lupin are among the gainers, whereas Coal India, Larsen & Toubro, Bank of Baroda, ONGC and Power Grid are losing sheen on NSE in the first trading hour.
