Nifty is hovering around the important mark of 10,050 in the first trading half. There are 511 advances, 1,070 declines and 380 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting strong negative sentiments floating in the market.
Nifty IT index is the only gaining index on NSE. It is trading higher by 0.39% at 10,537 level. Infosys is top gainer in the index trading at Rs 901.7 per share, up by 1.04%. Wipro is trading at Rs 285.5 per share, up by 0.72%. TCS has now become the second most valued company on the BSE after Reliance Industries Limited. It has crossed HDFC in terms of market cap by around Rs 1,950 crore during Friday’s trading session.
