Nifty dipped lower to touch its intraday low of 9,687. However, it is currently trading above the 9,700 mark. Bank Nifty is trading marginally lower by 22 points or 0.09% at 23,790 level.IndusInd Bank is top loser in the index trading lower by 0.65% at Rs 1,657 per share. Other banking stocks including HDFC Bank, Canara Bank and ICICI Bank are also trading marginally lower during the morning trade.

The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,180 up by 20 points, while Nifty is trading at 9,720 down by 14 points. A total of 6 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 44 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. There are 823 advances, 699 declines and 428 unchanged stocks showing mixed sentiments in the market. ACC, ITC, Bank of Baroda, Coal India and SBI are among the gainers, whereas BPCL, Asian Paints, IOC, Aurobindo Pharma and GAIL are losing sheen in the Nifty50 index.
