Reliance Industries touched its fresh 52-week high of Rs 872.1 per share on BSE. The stock is top contributor to the gains of Nifty and Sensex. HFCL is the top loser on the BSE Telecom index trading at Rs 32.5 per share, down by 4.97%. Idea, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Communications were also trading lower, down by more than 2%. BSE Telecom index is trading at 1,381 level, down by 20 points or 1.44%.


There are 983 advances, 527 declines and 436 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting fairly positive sentiments floating in the market. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 32,458 up 56 points, while Nifty is trading at 10,159 up 12 points.
