Nifty index is trading at its high point of the day. BSE Telecom index is one of the top gainers trading at 1,389 level, up by 0.52%. Idea is top gainer in the index trading at Rs 83.7 per share, up by 6.15%.Other telecom stocks including HFCL, Reliance Communications, ITI, TTML and Vindhya Telelinks are also trading in positive terrain, up by more than 0.7%.
The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 32,283 up 125 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 10,121 up 28 points. A total of 88 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 13 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
Tata Power, Reliance, Dr Reddy’s, Sun Pharma and Bank of Baroda are among the gainers, whereas BPCL, Indiabulls Housing Finance, ITC, LT and Hindalco are losing sheen on NSE.
