Nifty index has been trading rangebound below the important mark of 10,100. Only 16 stocks in the index are trading in positive territory while other stocks are trading in negative terrain.
Pharma stocks have been holding onto their gains in the afternoon hours. Dr Reddy’s Labs is the top gainer in Nifty index trading at Rs 2,423.75 per share, up by 4.71%. Lupin, Cipla, Sun Pharma and Aurobindo Pharma are also among top gainers trading higher by more than 2%. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 32,260 down 140 points, while Nifty is trading at 10,088 down 52 points. A total of 45 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 14 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. There are 448 advances, 1,169 declines and 341 unchanged stocks on NSE.
