The weakness in the market continues for the sixth consecutive trading session on Tuesday. Nifty has slipped further extending morning losses to touch its intraday low of 9,823.9 level. Among the nifty constituents, 23 stocks are advancing whereas 28 are declining.9,800 is the immediate support level for the 50-stocks benchmark index. Bank Nifty index is down by 100 points at 24,064 level.
There are 923 advances, 663 declines and 378 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting that the bulls are trying to take charge on D Street. In the foreign exchange market, Indian rupee is trading at its day’s low of 65.33 per US Dollar. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,494 down by 131 points, while Nifty is trading at 9,829 down by 43 points. A total of 8 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 25 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
